On January 27th, 2018, in Olympic National Park, Washington, seismic monitors detect a small earthquake caused by about 100 trees being torn apart near Lake Quinalt. Park rangers find toppled and snapped trees blocking roads and damaging utility lines. Field researcher Cliff Barackman describes the trees as massive, some with trunks four to five feet in diameter. The cause of this dramatic destruction remains a local mystery, sparking speculation about Bigfoot's involvement.
