The show begins with Shia cooking a special meal to surprise her boyfriend, Lynruy, for their anniversary. However, she catches Lynruy being affectionate with another woman, causing her to faint. A man named Yan Yu helps her and takes her to the hospital. When Shia wakes up, she is shocked to see Yan Yu, who turns out to be an old childhood friend. A flashback reveals that Yan Yu used to irritate Shia, especially when he ruined her exam score scheme. Despite their past, they both attend high school together.
