Dyords Javier, born George Javier, is known as one of the pioneers of Pinoy hip hop. He gained recognition in the early 1980s with his hit single "Na-Onseng Delight," a parody of the Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight." This song is widely considered one of the first recorded Filipino rap tracks, making Javier a significant figure in the history of Philippine hip hop.
In addition to his music career, Javier is also a comedian and actor. He was part of the first Filipino noontime show, *Student Canteen*, and is now involved in the music industry as the director of Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM). He continues to perform as part of the vocal group ANG4 (The ANGForgettables), alongside well-known figures like Isay Alvarez and Bimbo Cerrudo.
Javier remains active in entertainment and continues to contribute to the promotion of Filipino music.
