Jeffy received a package from his deceased Aunt Ernestine, who had died two days ago. Inside the package was a puppy that had been left outside for two days without water. Concerned for the puppy's health, Jeffy and his family rushed to call a vet for help. As they waited for the vet, they found themselves in a humorous situation at the gas station while trying to get water for the thirsty puppy named Winn-Dixie. However, tragedy struck when someone beat up the puppy and stole Jeffy's car.
