The story begins with a girl named So Young walking down a dark alley when she is followed by two individuals who eventually catch up and attack her. A man named Louis intervenes and saves her from the thugs. The next day, So Young falls asleep at school and is startled by her friend June wearing a vampire mask. They visit a flower shop that belonged to So Young's late mother, where an argument ensues and So Young accidentally pricks her finger on a thorn, revealing Louis to be a vampire.
