Kim, the protagonist of the movie, tries on a wedding dress at the start of the film as she plans to marry her fiancée Quan after seven years together. While entering the elevator, she meets Dao, who catches her eye. The two share a palpable attraction from the start. Despite their initial spark, Kim steps out of the elevator and heads to work, only to meet Dao again later at a construction site. Dao helps Kim find her way to a jewelry shop, where she works as a designer.
