In a future world, Australia is a desert wasteland with four major centers of human activity: the Citadel ruled by Immortan Joe, Gas Town, the Bullet Farm, and the hidden Green Place inhabited by the Vuvalini tribe. Furiosa, a young Vuvalini girl, is captured by the Bike Horde led by Warlord Dementus. Her mother rescues her but is captured in turn. Years pass, with Furiosa witnessing Dementus' brutal ways. Dementus challenges Immortan Joe, leading to a confrontation with Furiosa caught in the middle in this post-apocalyptic tale of survival and power struggles in the wasteland.
