The film begins with 19-year-old Junior White being sent to a six-month term in a correctional prison for a minor crime. His cellmate is physically abused, leading Junior to intervene. Despite his efforts, his cellmate ultimately attempts suicide due to continuous attacks. After Junior's release, he meets crime boss Sam, who provides him with resources and tasks. Junior teams up with Brendan and his crew to steal gold from a bank for a big reward. During this time, Junior becomes involved with Tasha, who helps him. They face challenges and betrayals from within their group, leading to tense situations.
