The show starts with the main character Mish, short for Michelle, dreaming of being popular in school. Despite her unpopularity and being bullied, Mish is determined to change herself. She has a secret romance with the school Casanova and wants them to go public on their one-year anniversary. Mish's stepfather, who loves her more than her biological father, prepares meals for the family. The next day, Mish wakes up excited for a special occasion.
