The film follows two new students, Park Ki Joon and Kong Yi Yul, at Korean National Police University. They are dropped off by their parents, with Park being close to his mother. The students undergo two-week military-style training to filter out unfit candidates. Days later, during physically intense training, some students drop out. In the final round, candidates must climb a mountain in an hour. Kong sprains his ankle but receives no help, even when he asks. Park initially declines but eventually helps Kong out. Their experiences highlight the challenges and dynamics of the rigorous program at the university.
