In the beginning of the movie "Sakasa", a girl named Shinahara runs to school to avoid being late. She is accused of tardiness by a teacher, but a boy named Hayato Arima arrives just in time to whisk her away. The scene then shifts to when Hayato first joins the school, sitting awkwardly with Sakasa. Over time, Sakasa starts to develop feelings for Hayato, who shows kindness towards her. As middle school ends, Sakasa suggests a trip with friends during vacation.
