The movie follows main character Grace and her friend Emma, who dream of visiting Paris after college. They work as waitresses to save money, facing criticism from friends. Grace's family plans a celebration, but reveals that Grace's stepsister Meg will join them in Paris. Despite tensions, they all travel to Paris. Emma meets a helpful tourist, Riley, while Meg connects with him as well. After missing their tour bus, Grace is upset but they find shelter in a hotel where they encounter a celebrity who looks like Grace.
