The movie opens with Sid, a high school senior who strives to keep a low profile to avoid trouble. He follows three rules: stay silent, blend in, and steer clear of the school bully named Chuck. Sid's friend Jim dreams of social media stardom and disagrees with Sid's approach. Sid has a crush on Tiff, but she is dating Chuck. After an incident with Chuck at school, Sid finds himself in a vulnerable state. Ultimately, Sid wakes up to Jim by his side, having been unconscious for seven hours after a confrontation with Chuck.
