The movie opens with Marissa Wilson, a pregnant spy for the OSS, tracking down a criminal named Tick Tock. Despite her pregnancy, Marissa fights Tick Tock's men and ultimately captures him. After giving birth to her daughter Maria, Marissa tries to bond with her stepdaughter Rebecca, who still misses her late mother. Marissa gifts Rebecca a necklace to symbolize their bond, but Rebecca's prank causes tension. Wilbur, Marissa's husband, struggles to balance spy hunting with family time.
