What would you guys do? I sold my 15 year old craftsman air compressor for 150$, it’s one of those stand-up, 30 gallon air compressors with like a 4hp motor. It’s always worked flawlessly for me, I just use mostly electric tools so I sold it. A week after selling, the guy I sold it to messaged me saying an hour or so into using it the motor cut out, and said “maybe we can work out some kind of deal”. Problem is, it was Facebook market place, I said “as is” and I have always had an understanding when I buy used stuff there’s a possibility it may stop working at any time or have problems. I DID plug it in and run it, letting it reach its max psi and making sure it held before he picked it up and I showed him it ran before I sold it to him. Am I in the wrong for not offering any thing back?
