A small alien from the species Boov sends out party invitations into space, unintentionally attracting dangerous creatures to Earth. The aliens, led by Oh, seek refuge on Earth to escape their enemies, the Gorg, and soon discover the wonders of the planet. Oh throws a housewarming party and befriends a human girl named Tip, who initially fears the alien invasion. When Tip's mother doesn't return home, she and her cat flee, encountering Oh in various misadventures. Oh's attempt to hide in Antarctica fails, leading to a series of comical mishaps as he tries to evade his fellow aliens, eventually finding acceptance with Tip and her mother.
