When Tai Lung, China's formidable villain, reappears, Po must find a new Dragon Warrior to help fight off the threat. In an underground mine, Tai Lung causes chaos, declaring that no one can stop him, not even the Great Dragon Warrior. Meanwhile, Po fights mutant stingrays attacking a village and saves kidnapped children. Shifu urges Po to find inner peace and choose a new Dragon Warrior, but Po hesitates. As Po investigates a theft at the Jade Palace, he confronts a fox thief who traps him. With effort, Po recovers a powerful staff and apprehends the thief. Po sets off to arrest Tai Lung, suspecting the involvement of a chameleon sorceress. Jen, the thief, offers to help Po find the chameleon. Despite objections from Shifu, Po teams up with Jen to embark on a journey to confront the chameleon princess. Meanwhile, at the Valley Of Peace, criminal leaders face off against the chameleon's demands for tribute. Mr. Ping and Li seek to find and help Po, traveling to distant lands. Po and Jen continue their journey, facing challenges and seeking allies as they approach Juniper City.
