To prevent Thanos from collecting the infinity gems and destroying half of life on Earth, a group of superheroes must unite to stop him before he becomes the most powerful being in the universe. The story of the movie Avengers Infinity War from 2018 is recapped. After Thanos threatens the Asgardians and steals the Tesseract, Thor, Loki, and the Hulk battle him. Thanos obtains the space stone and sets his sights on Earth. Doctor Strange warns Tony Stark of the threat posed by Thanos, who is aided by Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. Iron Man and Spider-Man join the fight, along with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Wanda and Vision face off against Thanos's minions while the rest of the team prepares for the impending battle.
