Google Shopping can indeed be an effective way to sell products via Shopify. It allows businesses to showcase their products directly in the search results, making it easier for potential customers to find and purchase them. However, it is important to set up the product feeds properly to maximize the benefits. Properly setting up the product feed involves providing accurate and detailed information about each product, including title, description, price, availability, and relevant attributes. This ensures that Google understands the products and displays them appropriately in search results. Additionally, optimizing product images and using high-quality visuals can enhance the appeal of the products to potential customers. To rank well in the Google Shopping tab, businesses need to focus on optimizing their product feeds and ensuring they meet Google's requirements. This includes using relevant keywords in the product titles and descriptions, as well as providing accurate and up-to-date information. By doing so, businesses can increase their chances of ranking higher in the shopping tab for relevant search queries. Compared to traditional search results, the shopping tab can be easier to rank for because it is based on the relevance and quality of the product feed, rather than the overall website authority. This means that even smaller businesses or newer websites have an opportunity to rank well if they optimize their product feeds effectively. However, it is important to note that while Google Shopping can be a valuable channel for selling products, it should not be the sole focus of a business's marketing efforts. It is crucial to have a well-rounded marketing strategy that includes other channels such as organic search, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising to reach a wider audience and maximize sales potential. In conclusion, Google Shopping can be a powerful tool for selling products via Shopify if businesses take the time to set up their product feeds properly. By optimizing the product feed and providing accurate information, businesses can increase their chances of ranking well in the shopping tab and reaching potential customers. However, it is important to have a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes other channels to maximize sales opportunities.

I’m very excited for you. From what little you describe it doesn’t sound scaleable. If you are creating listings for a one time sale it will become difficult to grow your business without hiring very cheap labor to create every listing. If you have access to hundreds to sell it can scale. Start to keep a chart of how much time you spend for each listing and your profit per sale. Cross that to check your hourly. It’s very difficult to grow a one time sale business into something past a certain revenue figure. Nothing wrong with that business just depends on your goals.
