Starting a Shopify store can be an exciting venture. When it comes to finding winning products for dropshipping, it's important to consider a few factors. Here's a detailed guide to help you find a profitable product niche:
Research popular trends: Look for products that are currently in demand. Platforms like Google Trends, Amazon Best Sellers, and social media platforms can give you insights into trending products. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, board games and puzzles saw a surge in popularity as people sought indoor entertainment.
Analyze competition: Check if there are other successful Shopify stores or dropshipping websites selling similar products. This indicates market demand and potential profitability. Explore their product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer reviews to understand what's working well for them.
Consider product uniqueness: Look for products that have a unique selling point or a gap in the market. This could be a specific feature, design, or target audience that sets your product apart. For example, instead of generic chess sets, you could focus on themed chess sets (e.g., Harry Potter chess set) or chess sets with innovative designs.
Use product research tools: Utilize tools like Oberlo, AliExpress, or Spocket to find potential products for dropshipping. These platforms allow you to search for products, compare prices, and check supplier ratings. Look for products with high ratings, good customer reviews, and reasonable shipping times.
Test product demand: Before committing to a specific product, it's wise to test its demand. You can run small-scale ad campaigns on social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram to gauge customer interest. This will help you determine if there's enough demand to make it a winning product.
Evaluate profit margins: Calculate the potential profit margins for your chosen products. Consider the cost of goods, shipping fees, advertising costs, and Shopify fees. Ensure that you have a healthy profit margin to sustain your business.
Build a brand: Once you've identified a winning product, focus on building a strong brand around it. This includes creating an appealing website, optimizing product descriptions, and leveraging social media marketing. Building a brand will help you establish a loyal customer base and differentiate yourself from competitors.
Remember, finding a winning product may require some trial and error. It's essential to stay persistent, adapt your strategies, and continuously learn from your experiences.
Additionally, joining forums and communities related to dropshipping, such as the Shopify Community or Reddit's r/dropship, can provide valuable insights and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs.
Good luck with your Shopify store!

I assume you are looking for winning products. I think there are two secure ways to find a winning product. First, find the most sold or recent trending products from supplier platforms. Second, find your niche competitor who did well and learn their best sellers and current ads. Find a product is on 50% of the word, learn how other people are getting traffic is the other half. I usually use google trends to confirm a trending niche, then explore ads and my competitors using eCommerce research tools like SimplyTrends.

You don't see ads about your product that you choose. but I will tell you that's perfect there is no competition there. Try to go to google trends put your keyword" your what ever product" and choose your country that you will sell in. choose also the past year and hit enter. with this trick you will see how is your product in the market. Go to word stream they have free tool to see how many search per month your keyword has. let's make an example. your keyword has 10k searches a month so if you market with google ads your ads will get %33 of searches put your budget and bidding in the exact keyword with google search campaign. and boom you are in outstanding position profit and scale and so on every month.

If you do chess.. how about mix it up with some cool designs .. dungeons / dragons inspired ? or chess pieces you can customize or paint I just recall how amazing the retail experience of walking into a Warhammer? store was .. My point is .. make it your own thing - rather than the boring stuff - then you can build a dedicated Brand / shop around that, people will remember it etc.

If you think board game supplies are worth doing, then start planning further and see if it actually presents an opportunity. OK, you haven't seen ads for those products, but you may hit the jackpot and find the potential market there. Who knows? On the other hand, when there are many ads, you may be worried about a saturated market and hesitate to join. If you have the knowledge and are passionate about the board game stuff, it's a good niche to consider. You can share your tips and information, like tutorials or strategies, which may make a difference among competitors. Also, you are more engaged with the business if it's something you like. Anyway, if you are looking for products/niches, try platforms like EcomHunt, FindNiche, etc. for ideas.

Another tip don't listen to any YouTuber and go with trendy products the competition will waste your budget you will see too expensive cpm and link click. do what I say in the past comment. search with your keyword see how many searched a month and look at low bid if you see it under 50 cents market with google. and forget social media channels.
