As a small business owner, I consider myself âqualifiedâ to answer this question. The broad answer is âeverythingâ. More specifically though, most small business owners need help with making sure their investment is protected. This need is sometimes overlooked because in addition small business owners, at least initially, struggle with working capital.The question then becomes âhow do I determine what the priority is?â Well, if anyone has ever flown you can look at it in the same way as you would if the plane were going down. You wouldnât try to help someone else without first making sure your own life is out of danger- you get your oxygen first, right? So, when you are a small business owner, you are already in business, so you want to protect the investment that youâve already put in. You would not want to wait until something happens outside of your control and lose it all because you were not prepared or âdid not have your oxygen onâ.

In my experience, most small business owners are simply clueless about marketing.They have no idea what it is, and often their best idea of marketing is âgiving discountsâ.Iâm not here to bash anybody, I was in the same place 10 years ago. And I had to sober up, and educate myself into Marketing, or I would have gone bankrupt.
