Determining the most dominant athlete ever is subjective and can vary depending on various factors such as the sport, era, and personal opinions. However, one athlete who is often considered among the most dominant is American basketball player Michael Jordan.

Michael Jordan's dominance can be attributed to his exceptional skills, achievements, impact on the game, and his ability to consistently perform at a high level throughout his career. Here are some reasons why he is often regarded as the most dominant athlete ever:

1. Skill and Performance: Jordan's skill set was unmatched during his prime. He possessed incredible athleticism, agility, and coordination, which allowed him to perform extraordinary feats on the basketball court. His scoring ability was unparalleled, winning the NBA scoring title ten times. Jordan's career scoring average of 30.12 points per game is the highest in NBA history.

2. Championships and Awards: Jordan won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls, including two three-peats (three consecutive championships). He was named the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) in all six of those championship runs. Jordan also won five regular-season MVP awards and was selected to the All-NBA First Team ten times.

3. Impact on the Game: Jordan's impact on basketball and popular culture is immeasurable. He revolutionized the sport and brought it to new heights of popularity globally. Jordan's style of play, competitiveness, and charisma made him a global icon, transcending the sport and influencing a generation of players. His signature line of sneakers with Nike became a cultural phenomenon and is still highly sought after today.

4. Dominance against Competitors: Jordan's ability to dominate against other top players of his era is noteworthy. He faced off against legendary opponents like Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, and Karl Malone, consistently outperforming them in crucial moments. His competitiveness and will to win were unmatched, often elevating his game when it mattered most.

5. Longevity and Consistency: Jordan's dominance was not limited to a few exceptional seasons. He maintained a high level of performance throughout his career, which spanned 15 seasons in the NBA. Even after a brief retirement, he returned to the game and won three more championships with the Bulls. Jordan's ability to stay dominant for an extended period is a testament to his skill, work ethic, and dedication.

While Michael Jordan is often considered the most dominant athlete ever, it's important to acknowledge that dominance can be subjective and varies across different sports and eras. Other athletes like Serena Williams in tennis, Usain Bolt in track and field, and Tiger Woods in golf have also demonstrated exceptional dominance in their respective fields. Ultimately, the answer to this question may differ depending on personal opinions and preferences.

Michael Jordan is a huge douche bag and a disgusting human being. But nobody can deny he was the best basketball player of all time.

Let me introduce you to: Donald Bradman whose career average is 50% higher than anyone to ever play the game 75 years after his retirement and Walter Lindrum who was so dominant that people refused to play in tournaments that he was entered into and they had to change the rules of the game in an attempt to level the field (it didn't work)

Depends on how you define it. Wayne Gretzky and Don Bradman are probably the two most dominant representatives of any sport. Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders played professional sports, at an extremely high level, in two separate sports at the same time. LeBron James is one of the most physically gifted athletes ever seen.

Simone Biles has to be up there. They rewrote the rules and made some of her moves not worth as many points because they were scared of anyone else trying them and her difficulty would automatically give her every win. I mean I can't think of anyone else that was so good at their sport the governing body of that sport handicapped them.

Messi. Considering there is such a massive pool of players worldwide. The longevity he has finished his career being the best player in the world all the way from 19 years old to 35 years old is amazing. I think as an individual surely he's 1st 2nd or 3rd on this list
