On the first day of the Under-19 Women's Twenty20 World Cup, two bowling displays were so impressive that they left the opponents in a state of disbelief.

The day’s first match between Sri Lanka and Malaysia resulted in Sri Lanka claiming a big victory by 139 runs. Malaysia’s batting was utterly destroyed for a meager 23 runs.

After choosing to bat first, Sri Lanka displayed a solid batting effort, scoring 162 runs.

This helped set the tone for the rest of the match. Sanjana Kavindi and Dahami Sanethma, the openers, provided a strong foundation for the team.
