In this poem, Frost explores the theme of choices and the impact they have on our lives. The poem's concluding lines, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— / I took the one less traveled by," have become iconic and are often misinterpreted as celebrating non-conformity.

Throughout his career, Frost received numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to literature. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry four times, making him one of the most honored poets in American history. Frost's work also earned him the title of Consultant in Poetry to the Library of 

Congress, a position now known as the Poet Laureate of the United States.
