Costa, a vibrant coastal Italian restaurant from Easton Porter Group (Zero George, Wild Common) is thrilled to announce its grand opening in early November 2023 in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina. We are a culinary haven known for our dedication to using locally sourced, fresh ingredients to craft exquisite coastal Italian-inspired dishes from award-winning chef Vinson Petrillo. To make our grand opening a resounding success, we are seeking passionate Line Cooks to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Line Cook at Costa Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, contributing to the success of our grand opening. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes with precision and finesse, ensuring that each plate meets our exacting standards of quality and presentation. This role requires culinary expertise, meticulous attention to detail, absolute cleanliness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute the preparation and cooking of menu items following Costa Restaurant's recipes and upholding our high standards of taste and presentation.

Guarantee that all dishes are prepared fresh, meeting and exceeding our culinary expectations.

Maintain an impeccably clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.

Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen team to deliver smooth and efficient service during peak hours.

Assist with food preparation tasks, including ingredient chopping, slicing, and portioning.

Strictly adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.

Ability to excel in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary creations.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Capability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods, handling kitchen equipment safely.
