Position Overview:

We are urgently seeking full-time or part-time, temporary Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) for all shifts. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an MA LPN/RN license.
• Preferred experience in the Geriatric field or a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude, high integrity, and ethical awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage doctor appointments, prepare resident charts, and accompany physicians on rounds.
• Oversee new admissions and hospital returns, ensuring care plans are updated, implemented, and maintained.
• Monitor residents' weight and nutrition, reporting those at risk to Dietary and following through with recommendations.
• Coordinate and assign work for nursing personnel in the unit.
• Observe and record resident conditions, vital signs, and reactions, and notify supervisors or physicians of any changes.
• Initiate resident education plans and provide family instruction as prescribed by the physician.
• Supervise and assist residents with daily living activities.
• Coordinate nursing service activities with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
