Stihl ROLLOMATIC E 18 Inch Long 0.325 Inch Pitch 0.063 Inch Gauge Chainsaw Guide Bar - 3003 008 6817

The standard version of the Stihl Rollomatic® Ematic™ bar consists of three electrically welded metal plates (laminated guide bars). The middle plate is hollowed out, giving the bar great stability with low weight. The Rollomatic® E is a general-grade laminated guide bar made of high-grade steel. Consisting of three electrically welded metal plates, it is lightweight, yet provides great stability. A sprocket is incorporated in the nose of the bar that carries the saw chain from the top to the bottom of the bar. This not only reduces wear, but also enables the bar nose to be made considerably narrower. This type of construction is an advantage where extensive use is made of the bar nose (i. e. limbing and boring). All Stihl Rollomatic® bars designed with a narrow nose help reduce kickback tendencies. And the star-shaped sprocket can be replaced several times before the whole bar is due for replacement, increasing the service life of the bar. Applications: All-around guide bar suitable for small to medium-duty chainsaws. Typically, this bar is not used by professional operators. Stihl recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled chain and green-labeled reduced-kickback bars on all powerheads.
