Kraken carbide-tipped hole saws feature a patent-pending carbide tooth design for better chip clearance, reduced slug dimensions, and improved stability during a cut. Kraken is designed to cut aluminum, fastener-embedded wood, stainless steel, tile backer, and a wide variety of other materials. With an enhanced side slot, spend more time cutting and less time removing slugs. With a 1-15/16 In. cutting depth, never come up short on what you cut! Kraken is recommended for cutting fiberglass, wood, fiberboard, stainless steel, drywall, plaster, and laminates while delivering a longer blade life than the competition. It is not recommended for pipe cutting.
