Powered by a 1 HP inverter-driven motor, this lathe delivers smooth 230V three-phase performance while operating from a standard 115V single-phase power source. With a 14-inch swing over the bed and 20 inches between centers, the 2014B is well-equipped to bowls, spindles and a wide range of turning projects. The sliding headstock allows the operator to reposition the spindle at the end of the bed for improved access during outboard turning. The heavy cast iron bed minimizes vibration and provides stability when working with larger or unbalanced stock. A redesigned magnetic backed control box is engineered to stay securely attached to the lathe during use and provides a clear digital spindle speed readout and indexing display for precise control.
