Concrete Oven Mitt Trivet

Oops, someone left an oven mitt on the counter. or did they? This playful optical illusion looks ready to pull a pan from the oven, but it's actually a sturdy concrete trivet. Mike Garman upends the expected by transforming a familiar kitchen shape into something entirely surprising, blending practical function with a healthy sense of humor to create one delightfully deceptive design. Inspired by the shape of a classic oven mitt. Handcrafted in small batches from concrete and recycled glass terrazzo. Cork base helps prevent slipping on countertops and tables. Measures 12.25" L x 7" W x 1" H Handmade in Texas.
