Garden Blooms Pressed Flower Platter

Tara Kothari captures a moment in the garden and preserves it forever in her striking platter. Tara begins by pressing real flowers and fern leaves directly into the surface of the clay, leaving delicate, fossil-like impressions that she then paints and glazes by hand. Soft blue speckles drift across the background like glimpses of sky through a canopy, while each botanical detail tells a story of growth and renewal. Both functional and expressive, it’s a piece that brings meaning to the table or the wall a perfect gift for celebrating life’s most memorable occasions. Real flowers and fern leaves are pressed into clay to create detailed, one-of-a-kind botanical impressions. Each impression is hand-painted with non-toxic underglazes and finished with a final glaze firing. Ferns symbolize resilience and new beginnings, adding meaningful depth to the design. Designed for both serving and display as a functional ceramic artwork. Hand-wash recommended though dishwasher and microwave safe. Approx. 13" dia. x 2 1/4"H. Handmade in New Jersey.
