Time Since Launch Clock

Why countdown when you can count up? This clever launch clock tracks the seconds, minutes, hours, days, and years from any meaningful moment you choose for generations to come. Whether it's the day you moved into a new home, had a baby, or quit smoking, the remarkable timepiece makes an unforgettable gift for the person whose life is about to change forever. Pull the stainless-steel launch pin to initiate the timer. Note: You can only do this once. Your transformative event is permanently burned into the device's internal chip. A custom 12-digit LCD begins counting up for one million days (that's 2, 738 years). Boasts a 150+ year battery life with backup capacitors to keep the chip powered when changing batteries so you won't lose time. Off-the-grid technology means no apps to download, no power source to plug into, and no infrastructure to rely on. If anything happens to your original device, you can remove the intact internal chip and transfer it to a replacement launch clock. Inspired by astronaut John Glenn, who started a stopwatch when he launched into space and became the first American to orbit Earth. Made with precision-machined metals and durable borosilicate glass. Assembled by Che-Wei and Taylor Levy in Brooklyn.
