Tea Tasting and Discovery Workshop

In England, tea is more than a drink: It’s a ritual, a lifeline (especially on rainy days), and practically a national pastime. So you couldn’t find a better guide for a tea-discovery experience than tea specialist Katy Woollard, live from Chelsea in the UK. This live online class takes you on a vibrant journey through 5, 000 years of tea history, exploring its mythical origins, global travels, and countless varieties while you learn hands-on tips for the perfect brew every time. Grab your kettle, your prettiest teacup, and maybe your favorite fellow tea-sipper, and join a tea party like no other because a good cuppa isn’t just a warm drink, it’s a way of life. Brew along with Katy, learning her top steeping secrets as you prepare three of the unique teas in your gift set (see “Comes with the class, ” below): Chelsea Garden white, light and fruity green, and legendary black Darjeeling. Get your burning (or, should we say, boiling) tea questions answered in a live Q&A where you’ll benefit from Katy’s expert advice. Discover tea’s epic history and unique qualities, from delicate white teas to robust blacks. Class length: 90 minutes. Comes with the class: Our Taste of Tea Exploratory Gift Set includes eight exquisite teas (including the three that you’ll brew and taste in class), expertly blended in the UK and beautifully gift-boxed.
