A safer, easier alternative to transporting mobility scooters, the Silver Spring Electric Scooter Lift and Carrier allows you to roll the scooter into position and raise it up electrically for hitch-mounted transport. With a 350 lb. capacity, it accommodates most smaller scooters on the 38" L x 27.5" W platform and has an extendable cradle that pulls out to 46". Four self-tensioning retractors secure devices to the platform without the hassle of keeping separate tie-down straps on hand. Installation requires no drilling or modifications to your vehicle, and the lift comes standard with a license plate holder, a warning LED light, and a manual back-up hand crank. Designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, the lift folds against the vehicle when empty to save space while improving visibility. For simplicity, one key provides full control. The Silver Spring power chair lift and carrier is compatible with most vehicles. When a device is loaded and tied down, it raises up in 20 seconds. When empty, it folds in 6 seconds.
