Hitch Wheelchair Carrier, 500 lb Cap, Tilt-A-Rack by Silver Spring

Hitch Wheelchair Carrier, 500 lb Cap, Tilt-A-Rack by Silver Spring

The innovative Tilt-a-Rack series of scooter and power chair carriers, exclusively available from DiscountRamps.com, features patented tilting carrier technology with an integrated slide-out ramp system. To use the carrier simply pull the tilt handle, slide out the ramp from under the platform, tilt towards the ground and you are ready for loading. The entire carrier shifts back to its original upright position using the weight of the scooter while it is being loaded. This is by far the easiest and safest loading system available on the market - no ramps to fold, unfold or stow away separately. This full size carrier is specifically designed to carry most full size scooter and chairs - platform measures 60" long by 32" wide and comes with an extra-long 52-1/2" ramp. This carrier will accommodate scooters which weigh up to 500 lbs. This Tilt-a-Rack scooter carrier is made from high-strength aluminum which will never rust and weighs only 103 lbs. Installation is a breeze and requires no hook-up to your vehicle's electrical system. When not in use this carrier conveniently folds up against the back of your vehicle to make driving and parking easy and safe. This carrier comes with a hitch pinch bolt to stabilize the carrier while transporting your mobility aid. US Patent number 7,841(more...)
