This fully automatic lift makes life simpler! This lift is just like the AL580 Power Wheelchair Lift, but is a bit larger to accommodate a Power Chair with larger wheels. This American-made outside platform lift features a padded arm that secures the wheelchair while in transit and includes a manual crank backup & license plate mount. Your power wheelchair does not require any modifications before placing it onto the lift and it also folds up automatically when not in use. There are no straps or tie-downs required to secure your chair to the lift. This product is designed to be used with Mid-wheel Power Chairs that have 14" drive wheels and vehicles that have a Class III hitch size. The hardwire kit allows you to wire the power source from the car's battery to the lift, but it can be difficult to install if you are not mechanically inclined. The battery pack allows you to install the lift with an external battery system which requires frequent recharging.
