11ax Wi-Fi support allows you to connect to compatible high-speed networks to video chat using the 720p webcam, view photos, and quickly transfer files. The dual USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports can transfer video, audio, power, and up to 5 Gb/s of data with compatible peripherals such as monitors and external storage drives. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports are also available. With its rugged design, this laptop can withstand minor drops and spills. Other convenient features include a microSD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth connectivity. Also, its 2-cell 47.6Wh battery is designed to power the laptop for up to 12.5 hours between charges. The Chromebook 11 G9 EE comes with Chrome OS pre-installed.

Chrome OS

Using Linux as a base, Google designed Chrome OS to work exclusively with downloadable web applications. The user interface takes a minimalist approach, inspired by the Google Chrome web browser. Chrome OS was built for people who spend a majority, if not all, of their time on the computer connected to the internet. The only application that comes installed on Chrome OS is a special Google Chrome web browser with an integrated media player and file manager. All other applications are accessed by adding apps from the Google Play Store. Since Chrome OS relies almost entirely on Google's web apps and access to Google's services, it is highly recommended that you connect to the internet to optimize your Chrome OS experience.
