The new AVH183 VTAC units are 47 15/16" while still keeping the same 23 1/8" x 23 1/8" footprint as the smaller models. The AVH183H35AXXX features 18,600 cooling BTUs and 17,000 heat pump BTUs plus a 2.8 / 3.4 kW electric back-up heater size. With an Amana VTAC, installation is as easy as installing a PTAC. Everything is charged, piped, and pre-wired. Since it is installed in a closet, it gives you the added option of conditioning in more than one room. It is a perfect solution for suite hotels, assisted living and nursing homes, even dorm suites.
