When it comes to wireless, the iPad Air supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Although, to enable faster data transmission, cellular models that are available with 5G have switched from 4G to 5G. According to Apple, 5G will support sub-6GHz bands, which will provide blanket coverage similar to LTE.
