The Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens is world’s first 10x optical zoom telephoto lens with a tele end of 600mm. Covering from 60mm to 600mm, the 10x hyper-telephoto zoom lens achieves an extremely high level of image quality. With the lens construction of 25 elements in 19 groups, consistent image quality can be created throughout the entire zoom range. This lens also incorporates Intelligent OS adopting the latest algorithm to deliver an image stabilization effect of 4 stops. The high-speed AF, thanks to the HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) with an updated algorithm, captures instantaneous photography movement. Superior Construction

This lens incorporates three FLD (“F” Low Dispersion) glass elements and one SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element to provide excellent correction of magnification chromatic aberration encountered in hyper-telephoto shooting. This offers both high resolution and consistent edge to edge performance through the entire zoom range. In addition, when shooting at the focal length of 200mm, the Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports lens can also be used for telephoto macro photography, with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.3, thanks to its high rendering performance.

Sigma USB Dock for Nikon Lenses

The Sigma USB dock works in conjunction with Sigma Optimization Pro software in order to connect a photographers lens to their personal computer to update firmware, calibrate the lens and other customizations such as the focus parameter. The dock is only compatible with the Sigma Art, Contemporary, and Sports line lenses featuring a Nikon F lens mount. For the Sports category, changes can be made to: Autofocus speed, focus limiters, manual focus override and optical stabilization functionality. Updating the firmware can be done via the internet. Sigma Photo Pro is available for Mac and PC computers.

AF Speed and Optical Stabilizer Modes

For all lines of lenses, there are four categories for prime lenses and 16 categories (four options for focal length, four options for shooting distance) for zoom lenses available. These categories allow you to set up certain focusing settings to better suit your personal shooting style. If using a Sports line lens, additional lens configurations are also available. The dock features three different AF speed modes to modify how quickly the lens changes focus. You can also constrain focus distances within a specific range to suit your personal shooting habits.
