The base and middle notes are a spicy combination of haitian vetiver, guatemalan cardamom, tonka bean and juniper. azzaro wanted was developed by fabrice pellegrin, a french perfumer who began his career as an apprentice to his own father.

Once he established his name in the industry, he moved on to create fragrances for diptyque, hermes and thierry mugler. He even collaborated with giorgio armani on a unisex scent that was also released in 2016. For more than four decades, the lorris azzaro brand has been celebrated for luxurious fashions and fragrances. In fact, the company has worked with dozens of well-known perfumers, such as jacques cavalli.
