I've noticed in japans convenience stores cash registers that I haven't seen elsewhere, mostly at places like 7-11 and lawsons, so basically there's a slot where you (the customer) can insert cash once you see the total and it will give you back the change. The employee doesn't even have to take the cash from you and put it in the cash register box. Now I'm wondering if there's any company that sells such cash registers? I found a bunch of Japanese websites, all in Japanese, haven't contacted any of them yet, but worried that the screen text and everything will be in japanese only making it difficult for employee and customers to understand.428
