Jake Sima year agoHey guys! I hired a website designer to help me with my site. But feel like I’m doing more work than he is. I have to push him to do things to get things done/pick up his slack Example: 1. He sends me a draft but the fonts are misaligned, and some gaps are bigger than others. I am not sure if it’s because it’s a draft so things aren’t perfect but I didn’t expect to call him out on it. We’ve been having issues with the menu and he’s asked me to reach out for the theme/site support to find out why it’s not working. Shouldn’t this be done by him? It’s my first time hiring a website designer so I’m not sure if this is the norm. But I feel like I’m pulling in alot of weight on this since I have to point out on simple things like layout, and I need to find solutions to the problems we’re having. Also, at one point we almost lost everything because he never backed up our site. As said, im new to this so I’m not sure if this is the norm when it comes to working with designers? Ps I can’t fire him because he is my friends friend & he also offered me a discounted rate.01650
