Elizabeth Battles2 years ago Online store getting hit with hundreds of failed payments - I have a business website set up to take online orders. This morning 170 orders were placed for the same product, all within minutes of each other, all with different names and pretty obviously fake emails. All of the orders failed. I deleted the product they were ordering (one I don't actually sell and don't have linked from any of my pages anymore) hoping it would help. Just now another 220+ orders for a different product all showed up. All failed again. I assume this is a scammer testing stolen credit card numbers to see what works? Any way I can get it to stop?
