On our last date, right before Christmas, he surprised me with a thoughtful gift: a gift card to a store he thought I’d enjoy, which he was spot on about. I appreciate how attentive he is to my interests. Since we’re not officially dating yet and haven’t had any serious discussions, I didn’t get him anything in return for Christmas. I was advised that it might be too soon to exchange gifts. However, now I’m second-guessing that decision, especially since he didn’t seem to expect anything from me. He has been pretty vague about his own interests, which makes it challenging for me to come up with something personal yet low-key. I know he enjoys running and going to the gym, but without knowing his size, it’s tough for me to consider clothing like a cozy sweater. Gift shopping for people I know well is already hard enough, so I’m feeling a bit stuck here. I could really use some help finding a suitable gift for him as we continue to get to know each other.5
