Sandra Heilwig2 months agoI (50F) hired a male handyman (33M) a few months ago to help with various tasks around a house I’m planning to sell. Over the course of the work, I started noticing that his eyes would light up when he looked at me, and he made long eye contact, which gave me the impression that he might be interested in me romantically. He’s made a couple of comments about me not stopping by the house very often, which I thought was a bit odd. Now that the job is complete, he still messages me from time to time to check in and ask how I’m doing. In his most recent message, he said, “I’ve missed you.” I’m not sure whether he’s just trying to keep the communication going because he’s hoping for more work, or if there might actually be some romantic interest on his part. He’s mentioned that since he’s single, he’s flexible and can come to my house for work even though it’s an hour away. He also said that for larger jobs, he could stay over because of the distance. To be honest, I find him very attractive and am intrigued. I’m just unsure if I’m reading too much into it, or if he might actually be interested in me beyond just work.1538
