Kitty Jeffrya month agoToday, my husband and I were out shopping, and we realized the trunk was full of bird seed. We had talked about getting more, but I was so delighted to realize he had just gone out and done exactly what we’d discussed. This isn't the first time it's happened, so he asked why I was so happy about the bird seed, and in that moment (and through our conversation), I realized that I had been expecting to have to constantly ‘nag’ my partner. But the partner I found is actually thoughtful and very helpful. I don't have to repeat myself, I don’t need to ‘nag,’ and I don't have to be the bad guy when it comes to taking care of basic but necessary (and fun!) tasks like buying bird seed. Pretty neat!141
