As my hand moved around, my pinky accidentally brushed against her belly button. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she has a strong aversion to anything touching her belly button, which makes her feel very uncomfortable. Suddenly, she jumped up and, without warning, punched me in the face. I was completely taken aback and sat there in shock, trying to process what had just happened. Almost immediately, she apologized, saying she didn’t understand why she reacted that way. I was still reeling from the unexpected punch and didn’t know how to respond. As I sat there, trying to gather my thoughts, I noticed her mood shifting. She started to express anger towards me, claiming that I knew how sensitive she was about her belly button and that it wasn’t fair for me to be upset about her reaction. I tried to explain that I would have apologized for the accidental touch if I had the chance, but everything happened so quickly.134
