Lobo Wines is the shared passion of proprietors, Krys and Randy Wulff. Lobo is Spanish for “wolf,” and named as a tribute to Napa’s Hispanic work force. The Wulffs began making their artisanally crafted wines in 2007 to wide and now consistent acclaim. Their array of wines—all from single vineyard 100% estate grown fruit—are limited production and meticulously, sustainably farmed. Their winemaker is none other than trailblazing winemaker Victoria Coleman! Victoria was the first black woman to graduate from the UC Davis enology/viticulture program. She began her winemaking journey at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, then moving on to Opus One and Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux... how's that for pedigree.
