Grown entirely in eastern Mendoza, the torrontes’ flowery and sweet nose is subtle and elegant. The combination of the desert-like conditions and high-altitude vineyards of the Mendoza region aid in producing wines with robust concentration with plenty of supporting acidity like this 2016. A light yellow hue, ushers a mouthfeel loaded with bright notes of mineral, lemon and orange. Subtly acidic, dry and elegant, it complements fish, poultry and light dishes, while also making a delicious sipping wine. The Beverage Testing Institute named this a Best Buy and scored it 93 points saying, "Brilliant silvery straw color. Fruity, floral aromas and flavors of lilacs, roses and orange blossoms, spiced lychee and peach, and key lime custard with a silky, tangy, fruity light body and a smooth, interesting, medium-long lemon spritzed melon and nectarine skin finish with silky, fruit tannins and no oak.
